The Windows 11 operating system for Arm devices is nothing new. Introduced since 2012 through the Microsoft Surface device, it has gone through various types of changes until now where it can be used as an operating system that almost resembles the performance of the X86 version.
Until now, the Windows 11 operating system for Arm was only available through computers powered by Arm processing chips that were purchased. All this has changed where Microsoft confirmed that starting today, the ISO file to install the Arm version of the Windows 11 operating system can be downloaded through their website.
This ISO file is only 5GB in size and can be downloaded and used as an installer file in a small USB storage device and used as an installation device for the operating system. Microsoft says that for now, all devices using the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor chip can install the operating system directly without problems, but users still need to install additional driver software manually.
For Arm devices that use older processing chips, Microsoft has also developed a website that explains how these ISO files can be used to install the operating system on their devices.
You can go to the Microsoft Windows 11 Arm ISO website to download the file today.
