It's only November and this week YouTube Music has given all users early access to Recap 2024. Recap is YouTube's answer to Apple Music Replay and Spotify Wrapped that summarizes users' listening activity throughout the year. Just open the YouTube Music app, scroll down a bit and you'll see 2024 Recap is here!
The main page of Recap this time will display Stories for the songs you play most often, favorite music list, favorite artists, listening timeline, your movie characters, podcasts you always listen to, music moods you like and also an overall summary. Then below that is a collection of photos in Google Photos that are matched to the song you played by date data.
YouTube Music also displays a special Recap playlist by month, as well as offering a collection of the best 2024 song playlists by genre such as K-Pop Hits 2024, Pop Hits 2024 and more. Each of the Stories and playlists in this 2024 Recap can also be downloaded and shared to social media platforms.
