AMD is expected to unveil a number of new products, most likely new computer components. They have just confirmed that they will hold a media event on January 6, 2025 at the CES 2025 event to be held in Las Vegas.
Jack Huynh, Vice President and General Manager of Computing & Graphics at AMD, has announced that AMD will showcase new technologies related to computing, graphics, AI, PC and commercial at the event.
So far, what we know about the launch includes the introduction of RDNA 4 graphics technology consisting of several new graphics cards, the AMD Ryzen Z2 series of processing chips that will be used to power PC consoles and the AMD Strix Halo, which is said to be changing the gaming laptop industry.
Looking at AMD's own website, it also seems that they will show new announcements in the AI and automotive segments, especially in terms of informatics, gaming, video processing and the announcement of new System-on-a-Chip components.
