Apple and Sony Reportedly Want to Bring PSVR2 Controller Support to Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro is arguably one of Apple's latest products that has not received high demand - including due to its price, content offering, and also its use. However, Apple, which has invested billions of ringgit in its development, is now seen wanting to position the augmented reality device as a video game-friendly device.

To that end, Apple is reportedly working with Sony, and is said to be about to announce support for the PSVR2 controller to be used with the Apple Vision Pro.

So far, the Apple Vision Pro is not offered with any controller - and Apple emphasizes eye-based control support, in addition to finger and hand movements. However, this matter itself does not provide comfort to a number of users, and sometimes it makes the wrong choice.

With the offering of the PSVR2 controller for the Apple Vision Pro, it is expected that not only video games can be played well, but the controller can also be used to control a number of other software and applications using the Vision Pro.

It is not yet known whether the announcement of this collaboration will lead to higher demand for the Vision Pro or vice versa. Sony itself still doesn't seem to be selling the PSVR2 controller separately today – and it's unclear how that will change after the partnership is announced.

Let's all wait and see what Apple has to say about their augmented reality device.
