Astro today announced the successful renewal of broadcast rights to the Premier League (EPL) and the Emirates FA Cup for the next three seasons – 2025/26 to 2027/28. This broadcasting rights connection confirms Astro and Premier League's long-term partnership to ensure fans can continue access to the world's most popular football league.
This broadcast rights renewal will see Astro continue to broadcast all 380 Premier League matches in HD resolution and selected matches in 4K UHD resolution, along with the entire Emirates FA Cup. In addition to live matches, Astro will also produce a series of original content such as magazine programs, exclusive interviews and field side displays.
It was also announced today that Astro will premiere the second series of the popular show, “From KL to PL” in January 2025. It is a travel reality show featuring Malaysian entertainment and sports talent enjoying Premier League matches in the UK.
