The ASUS V16 has been launched as a gaming laptop for basic tasks offered by the company. It is equipped with a 16-inch IPS FHD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen also has an anti-glare coating with an 89% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 300 nits.
This is combined with a choice of Intel Core i5-13420H or Intel Core™ i7-13620H CPU, in addition to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 3050 (6GB GDDR6) GPUs. In addition, it has 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and a 63WHrs battery. There is also an audio system with Dirac technology and ASUS Audio Booster that offers quite clear and detailed sound.
The backlit keyboard is also paired with a larger touchpad, ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) technology for the webcam system. I/O options consist of 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (display / power delivery), 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x HDMI 2.1 FRL, 1x 3.5mm audio jack and 1x DC-in. The official retail price is still unknown as of the time of publication of this article.
