Bybit has now begun informing Malaysian users, saying they will block logins by all Malaysian users, effective December 24, 2024. Bybit said this step is to ensure that their company complies with various regulations and laws set by the country.
For your information, Bybit is one of the cryptocurrency trading exchange service providers. Bybit does not have a license to operate in Malaysia to date.
According to the SC authority’s listing, only 6 companies are permitted to operate cryptocurrency trading exchanges in Malaysia, including Luno, Hata, MX Global, Tokenize, Torum, and Sinegy DAX. The public is also advised to use platforms that are approved by the authority for any financial transactions.
