Catcha Digital Forms Automotive Media Portfolio With Brands Careta, Mekanika, Automachi And Auto123



Catcha Digital through its subsidiary company iMedia already has a number of digital media under them, including OhMedia, Beautifulnara and so on. After focusing on lifestyle and entertainment media for a long time, they have now also acquired automotive-focused media group, Drive 2 Digital Sdn Bhd.


Under Drive 2 Digital, there are four automotive media brands covering Malay and Chinese, namely Automachi, Auto123, Careta and Mekanika. It is said that these brands generate a total of one million unique visitors each month, in addition to achieving more than 45 million video views covering TikTok, Instagram and YouTube each month.


Catcha Digital purchased a 60% stake in Drive 2 Digital for RM16.2 million. Payment will be made in three installments over the next 24 months, with the D2D company targeting to achieve a profit target of RM3.5 million in the first 12 months.
