Donald Trump Asks US Supreme Court to Delay TikTok Ban

Donald Trump, the future President of the United States, has now asked the US Supreme Court to delay legislation that will ban TikTok in January 2025. The delay is requested until Donald Trump takes office as President of the United States.

Through the application made, it is said that the incoming President intends to find a way to solve the problem regarding TikTok politically.

According to the original court order, TikTok should have been banned in the United States effective January 19, while Donald Trump will officially become President effective January 20.

What is interesting is that in 2020, Donald Trump, who was President of the United States at the time, tried to ensure that TikTok was banned or sold to a US company – and is now seen trying to save the social media. TikTok is often associated with security threats to the country, but no relevant evidence has been revealed by the United States so far.
