Flexbar Brings Back the Touch Bar Feature on Macs and Can Also Be Used on Windows

The Touch Bar trackpad has been discontinued on the MacBook Pro for no apparent reason since last year. Now physical buttons are used and there are still Apple fans who miss this feature on their new MacBooks. Flexbar was created by ENIAC to bring back this long-lost feature.

Flexbar is a 250 x 7 mm OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2170 x 60 pixels. Like the Touch Bar, Flexbar provides touch controls for controlling media, changing screen brightness, audio volume control and more. Users can also program Flexbar to perform macros or save the order of application windows on the computer screen.

The entire body of Flexbar is made of aluminum with connection to the computer via USB-C. It can be used on macOS and Windows computers. The project is currently raising funds and can be purchased for $119 (~RM526).
