Gboard Can Now Remember Text from Pixel Screenshots

I still don't understand why Google Pixel needs a dedicated Pixel Screenshots app for its AI features, when Samsung devices can offer the same feature in just one gallery app. The Pixel Screenshots feature should be integrated into Google Photos. However, Google is still trying to make using these various apps easy on Pixel devices.

After ensuring that the data from Pixel Screenshots can be used with various other Google apps like Wallet, it is now updated to be used with Gboard as well. Any screenshot you take on a Pixel device and saved in Pixel Screenshots, Gboard can remember the relevant text content when you open other apps.

For example, you share a screenshot of Now Playing playing the song Houdini by Dua Lipa - as soon as you open the YouTube Music app, the song title will be suggested on Gboard. This makes it easy for users to do searches without having to remember anything or just press paste. This feature can also be used if you open any product website, the screenshot can provide search suggestions when you open an e-commerce app.

However, it should be noted that Pixel Screenshot will take some time to process the data so that the text in the image can be extracted. Because of this, the suggestions given may sometimes be from 2-3 other screenshots you have taken.
