Google Pixel 9a Specifications Leaked – May Be Sold in Malaysia

Google Pixel 9a is one of 5 devices expected to be launched in 2025. Pixel 9a has already been leaked before with a design without a camera bar and completely flat. Latest, the specifications of this device have also been leaked.

As usual, the Pixel A series is a cheap version of their flagship device. So Pixel 9a will also use the same Tensor G4 chip on Pixel 9. Only, this time the battery used is larger which may reach 5100mAh. This device will also not support satellite communication features because it does not use the Exynos Modem 5400 modem.

Pixel 9a is also a slightly larger device than Pixel 8a. It may use a 6.3-inch screen, OLED 120Hz, Gorilla Glass 3-clad and brightness reaches 2700 nits. For the camera, the sensor that will be used is 48+13 Megapixel. The device will also support updates for up to 7 years and Malaysia is listed as one of the countries that will offer this device.

The expected retail price is $499 with a single memory option of 8/256 GB. Hopefully the retail price will be around RM1,999 and not reach more than RM2,200 – otherwise it will be difficult for this device to sell in the Malaysian market.
