Grab As a Driver of Daily Life

Seeing Grab's potential in generating income has become a starting point for several Grab partners involved in the field of online solutions. Each of them also has a very inspiring real-life story that may be able to provide motivation and positive encouragement to those with the same goals and focus. Despite the short time, we took the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with one of the relevant Grab Partners, Nurfarra Aiza, to ask about her experiences and challenges as a female Grab driver. Initially, Farra, who had also worked as a teacher's assistant before, was trying to find opportunities to generate a better income.

According to Nurfarra, the total income received while working as a teacher's assistant before was only around RM300 per month. Following that, the girl challenged herself to get out of her comfort zone to become better by working part-time as a Grab driver. The support from her father also fueled the spirit and motivation for the 28-year-old girl to continue to create success in her chosen part-time career. That's where Nurfarra's journey began by getting her license and completing the related matters, apart from using a rental car at first.

At the same time, Nurfarra also has to be good at managing time between studying and working since Nurfarra is also a student who is currently studying for a Master's degree. However, it is not a burden, in fact, Nurfarra says that Grab provides a major advantage in determining a schedule that suits the individual's lifestyle, while also allowing her to manage working hours flexibly. She even admitted that Grab has helped increase her main income to the point where she can now own her own car.

"Grab is a very flexible job. So, I can do Grab in the morning and then go to class in the evening.

"From there, I also see that Grab can be an attractive option for those who want to increase their income with a flexible work schedule."
