When Intel revealed their plans for developing discrete graphics technology, they revealed details about the Arc Alchemist, Arc Battlemage and Arc Celestial graphics platforms.
They just launched the Intel Arc Battlemage series of graphics cards two days ago with the introduction of the Intel Arc B580 and Intel Arc B570 graphics cards, but now, Tom Peterson, the person responsible for the development of Intel Arc graphics technology has recently also confirmed that Intel Arc Celestial, or Intel Xe3, is almost ready for development, and will be tested soon.Int
Through the Full Nerd Podcast, Tom Peterson said that Intel Xe3, or Intel Arc Celestial, is almost ready, and the software team is working hard to get this product ready before it is tested.
Not many details were revealed about the Intel Arc Celestial, but Tom Peterson also confirmed that the hardware division of the Graphics group at Intel has already started developing the next processing chip.
He also said that it is highly likely that Intel's Xe3 graphics card series will be shown in 2026, although the Xe3 graphics chip itself will be used in the Panther Lake series of processor chips that will be shown next year.
Unfortunately, he did not give any details about the performance of the Xe3, but in our opinion it will at least come with premium mid-range capabilities, probably in the range of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super graphics card and so on.
