Intel has just recently introduced its Intel Battlemage graphics card series with the introduction of the Intel Arc B580 and Intel Arc B570 graphics cards which are mid-range and affordable graphics cards, with the Intel Arc B580 reportedly featuring performance that rivals an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card at a lower price tag.
The Intel Arc B580 graphics card comes with a total of 12GB of GDDR6 memory, while the Intel Arc B570 comes with 10GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
Recently, it was reported that Intel has plans to launch an Intel Arc Battlemage graphics card with a higher memory amount, 24GB of GDDR6 VRAM which will be introduced for markets other than the gaming industry.
The graphics card, when launched in 2025, will be used for the professional sector, including for the development of artificial intelligence language models and also prom processing for generative AI.
It is reported that this graphics card will be used in data centers, artificial intelligence research centers, universities, colleges and companies that develop the technology.
So far it is not known when this graphics card will be introduced, but the expectation is that it may be around the Computex Taipei 2025 event, where Intel may also show off their latest products such as the Panther Lake series of processing chips for thin and light laptops.
