Apple is expected to introduce an iPhone with a thinner design in 2025, possibly known as the iPhone Air. This new series is expected to replace today's iPhone Plus series, which is seen as not having a high fan base like other iPhone offerings.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be introduced in September 2025, with its main focus being a thinner and lighter design compared to other iPhone offerings on the market. It is also expected to come with a simpler camera offering, in an effort to reduce the cost of the device.
According to a WSJ report, the Apple iPhone 17 Air is expected to be priced lower than the Pro series. This is also seen in line with the iPhone 17 Air which is expected to replace the "Plus" series today.
In Malaysia, the iPhone Pro series is offered at a starting price of RM4999, and if that price is maintained for next year, then we will see the iPhone 17 Air offering below that price.
For you, do you feel that this "Air" series will end the device problems faced by Apple, after the "Mini" and "Plus" series which were seen as less than satisfactory in terms of reception?
