Last week we reported that the design of the Lenovo Legion Go S, Lenovo's affordable console, had been leaked to the web arena. Similar to a Nintendo Switch Lite, it comes with a more compact design, and with a non-removable controller, unlike the Lenovo Legion Go.
Recently, the design and specifications of the new Lenovo Legion Go 2 (name not yet determined) have also been leaked to the web arena, where as expected, it is seen to come with a similar design as the previous model, but with brand new specifications.
Evan Blass has once again leaked images of the design of this console, and as expected, it comes with a detachable controller, where the right controller can be used as a wireless mouse.
Apart from that, another upgrade made to this console includes that it comes with the use of an OLED panel, maintaining the same 8.8-inch size as before. So far, the resolution of this OLED display is unknown, but since it uses the same display size, it may also maintain the same 2560×1600 resolution.
In terms of specifications, it also seems to be confirmed that this console will be powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor chip which comes with a combination of the latest AMD Zen5 processor chip and the AMD Radeon 890M graphics processing chip.
Lenovo is expected to introduce the Lenovo Legion Go 2 and Legion Go S at the CES 2025 event which will take place in Las Vegas in the first week of January 2025.
