LG launched the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor 45GX990A monitor which has a 45″ screen that can be bent into a curved monitor with a radius of 900R. It has a 21:9 aspect ratio, supports 5K2K resolution (5120 x 2160 pixels) and can also be used in flat mode if needed by the owner.
There is support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro but LG did not share what refresh rates the screen supports. The selling price has not yet been announced but the product will be officially shown at the CES 2024 event next month. Since it is a first-generation product, it is likely that its selling price will be higher than regular monitors.
This is not the world's first bendable screen monitor. In 2022, the Corsair XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 OLED monitor was launched with a 45″ screen, 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
