At the KLIMS 2024 event today, MG Malaysia also took the opportunity to announce the price of their electric car in the Roadster class, the MG Cyberster at RM 319,900. This two-seater car joins MG's lineup of electric cars and petrol cars to enliven the choices of local consumers.
The MG Cyberster, which is Malaysia's first electric roadster, comes in stylish with an electric motor power of 375 kW and a maximum torque of 725 Nm. It also has the same battery size as the MG 4 Extended Range, which is 77 kWh but has a travel range of around 446km since it has 4-wheel drive. The DC charging power is 150 kW allowing for a fast charge of 10%-80% in 38 minutes, while the AC charging is 7kW and takes around 10 hours for a full charge.
For local buyers, the MG Cyberster also comes with a 7-year or 150,000-mileage warranty, an 8-year or 180,000-KM battery warranty, an 8-year or 160,000-KM electric motor warranty and a 7kW charging unit. Even more interesting is the 1-year free charging offer via JomCharge and it also supports the AutoCharge function, where users only need to plug in the charger without having to launch any applications.
