We previously reported that Microsoft had begun introducing AI features like Recall to CoPilot+ laptops powered by AMD and Intel processors for testing through their Windows Insider program.
Now, Microsoft appears to have added a few more new AI features to test in their latest Dev Channel build. With the Windows 11 Build 26120.2705 update, Microsoft has added live translation and subtitles to the laptops.
The same update also appears to improve the performance of these features on CoPilot+ laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors, including the introduction of the ability to translate videos from already supported languages such as Arabic, English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, and others to Chinese (Simplified).
Microsoft also advises Windows 11 testers to download the latest driver software from their website before updating the operating system to ensure they can use their computers without too many problems.
Several existing issues with the features being tested have also been identified, and Microsoft says they will be fixed in future updates.
