MSI has launched two new console PC models through the Claw 8 AI+ and Claw 7 AI+. Both models are given attractive upgrades including better performance and battery life. In addition, they have built-in CoPilot+ support which sets a new standard for the mobile gaming segment. MSI has also updated the design by featuring brand new analog buttons. In addition to utilizing Cooler Boost HyperFlow technology, a dual-fan, dual-heat pipe system for the best gaming experience.
Elaborating more on the specifications, the MSI Claw 8 AI+ is equipped with an 8-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is combined with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 258V CPU, Intel Arc 140V GPU and Windows 11 Home software. Then matched with 32GB LPDDR5x-8533 memory and up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. The 80Whr battery also supports 65W USB Type-C PD 3.0 charging. I/O options include 2 x Thunderbolt 4 / DP / USB Type-C (w/ PD 3.0 Charging), 1 x microSD card reader, 1 x audio jack and 1 x power button integrated with fingerprint scanner.
The MSI Claw 7 AI+ (A2VM) is equipped with a 7-inch FHD+ IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, Intel Arc 140V GPU, 32GB LPDDR5x-8533 memory, 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage and Windows 11 Home software. The 54.5Whr battery is also used with a 65W USB Type-C PD 3.0 fast charging system. I/O options include 2 x Thunderbolt 4 / DP / USB Type-C (w/ PD 3.0 Charging), 1 x microSD card reader, 1 x audio jack and 1 x power button integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
The MSI Claw 8 AI+ is priced at USD 899 (~RM3996), while the MSI Claw 7 AI+ is priced at USD 799 (~RM3551). MSI has yet to announce any new models for the Malaysian market as of now.
