Just recently, people were praising Microsoft for allowing iPhones to share files to Windows devices as quickly as AirDrop. Most recently, they have made Android users angry by blocking access to read messages.
Yes, in the new Phone Link update – Android 15 devices that have connected to Windows devices will no longer be able to see messages with sensitive content in notifications. This means that messages such as one-time passwords (OTPs), two-factor authentication (2FA) codes and other messages suspected of having sensitive content will no longer be easily accessible. Users will now have to unlock the phone and will not be able to use Phone Link.
However, this feature only applies to Android 15 devices that do not have Phone Link built into the system. Some Android devices still require users to download the Phone Link app from the Play Store. Unlike Google Pixel, Samsung, realme, Oppo, OnePlus and Honor which have Phone Link built right into the Android system.
