AI technology development is seen to be very rapid now, where every day or every week we can see a new AI service introduced. To help in the development of this technology, NVIDIA has introduced a new AI development kit called NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super.
The Jetson Orin Nano computer comes with a compact design, in line with many software development kits today, but it comes with powerful enough specifications and a low enough price tag to allow anyone to start a career as an AI technology developer.
The Jetson Orin Nano Super uses an Arm Cortex-A78AE processor chip with a speed of 1.7GHz with 8GB of built-in DRAM. It also comes with a built-in GPU with a speed of 1020MHz and has 1024 CUDA cores and 32 Tensor cores which allows this small computer to generate 67 TOPS for artificial intelligence processing purposes.
It also houses four USB 3.2 Type-A ports and can be powered using a single USB Type-C port and can be paired with two M.2 2280 or 2230 SSD storage inside. It also houses a MicroSD card slot which can also be used to house the Linux L4T operating system, which is built specifically for use with NVIDIA equipment.
NVIDIA also says that existing Jetson Orin developer kits will also see performance improvements when they install the new software update that will be introduced soon.
As we said before, the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super also comes with a very low price tag, at $249 (~RM1112), and will be offered on various e-commerce platforms soon.
