OnePlus officially launched the new Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro devices in China. Both devices have minor differences in processor chips and battery capacity but bring different experiences. Here are the full specifications for OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro.
The screen is a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 4500nits. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip powers the Pro version while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also used on the OnePlus Ace 5. Memory options include up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage. In addition, it runs ColorOS 15 software built on Android 15.
The main camera is 50MP (Sony IMX906) OIS, 8MP (IMX355), 2MP (OmniVision OV02B) and can record maximum 4K60FPS videos. The front camera is 16MP and can only record 1080P videos. OnePlus uses a 6415mAh battery with 80W charging on the Ace 5 model while the Ace 5 Pro is equipped with a 6100mAh battery that supports 100W charging.
Other specifications include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP65 waterproofing and an infrared emitter. The device's retail price starts at RMB 2299 (~RM1,409) (Ace 5) and RMB 3399 (~RM2,084) (Ace 5 Pro) with availability starting December 31, 2024. The Ace 5 is expected to launch in India and global markets next month as the OnePlus 13R with slightly different camera and battery specifications.
