Realme Devices With Dimensity 8400 Chips Coming Soon



Apart from Redmi, it seems that Realme is also preparing to present a device that will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8400 chip. Although not officially stated, many speculate that Realme may launch the Neo7 SE model. At the same time, it will complement the existing Neo7 device range to allow users to choose a model that suits their interests and needs. There are no other specifications for this upcoming Realme device, but more information is believed to be revealed in the near future.


Briefly sharing about the Dimensity 8400 chip. It is equipped with eight Cortex A-725 CPU cores (3.25GHz) which are capable of producing a 41% performance increase. This is matched with the Arm Mali-G720 GPU with 24% peak performance and 42% higher power efficiency. In addition, it has a MediaTek NPU 880 that supports LLM/SLM/LMM and the Dimensity Agentic AI Engine (DAE) allows AI agents to operate through a hybrid structure for cloud work. Other specifications include a WQHD+ screen, 144 Hz refresh rate, Imagiq 1080 ISP supporting 320MP cameras, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
