The Exynos 2500 flagship device processing chip is no longer a secret because last August, Samsung confirmed its existence. This chip was supposed to be used in the Galaxy S25 series, but due to production problems, Samsung chose to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. For the Galaxy Z Flip7, however, the new Exynos chip with a 3nm design may be used on it.
In a report by The Elec via their YouTube video, Samsung is said to be using the Exynos chip on the Galaxy Z Flip7 after the last time it was done in 2022. The Exynos 2500 chip is developed with a 3nm design and uses specifications similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Exynos 2500 is also said to be more efficient in terms of power consumption than the S8G3.
With the use of the Exynos 2500 chip, Samsung is seen to be taking a step back by using its own flagship chip for the first time on a foldable screen device. This is proven by the Exynos 2400 this year through the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 FE which have impressive performance. In 2027, the Galaxy S27 is said to be completely using Samsung's own chips under Project Ulysses. Can you accept Exynos chips, just as you are starting to accept MediaTek chips?
