Samsung Is Developing “Project Moohan” – The First Android XR Headset



In parallel with Google’s sharing regarding the launch of Android XR, Samsung also shared briefly about the device they are currently developing, now known as the code name “Project Moohan”. For your information, “Moohan” means “Infinity” in Korean.


This Project Moohan is a headset that combines the arenas of virtual reality, mixed reality, and the world of AR. Using it, Samsung says users can easily navigate through Google Maps, enjoy YouTube content, or perform a number of tasks with the help of Gemini.


The headset is also said to be lightweight and comfortable to wear. Unlike previous virtual reality product offerings, the integration of Gemini is expected to lead to a number of differences in terms of user experience.


Samsung aims to introduce this first headset in 2025. Let’s all look forward to more about it soon.
