It was recently reported that a group of hardware modders have successfully modified a Sony PlayStation 5 console into a laptop, complete with a newly built screen, keyboard and cooling system.
The laptop comes with a very thick (31.3mm) and heavy (4.32kg) design and its dual-fan cooling system is said to be very noisy. At its maximum, it is as loud as 71.3dB. It also houses a 17.3-inch IPS screen display with a 4K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
This modder group called Notebook Review Studio calls this PlayStation 5 laptop the BBook AI Original Edition and has spent around $2750
Unfortunately, for a laptop, it does not come with a built-in battery, and needs to be powered by a charging block.
