The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G was launched in Malaysia last November at a price of RM899. The most important characteristic is of course the six years of Android and security update support provided. It is also one of the devices in the Galaxy A series that is the first to receive this update.
Recently we found that the LTE version has also started to be listed on the official Samsung Malaysia website. This gives a clear picture of Samsung's plans to bring this device to the Malaysian market in the near future. The official offer period is still unknown but the specifications of the device have been fully revealed.
The Samsung Galaxy A16 LTE can be available in two color choices, namely gray and green. Apart from that, it has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ screen. An eight-core chip also powers the device with a memory option of 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Just like the 5G version, Android and security updates for six years are also provided.
Other specifications are 5000mAh battery, IP54 waterproof, 50MP + 5MP + 2MP main camera and 13MP selfie. At the time this article was written, the device was seen simply being listed and no information regarding the selling price was found.
