WeTransfer is one of the online file sharing and sharing services. Last August, Bending Spoons, the firm behind apps like Evernote, Meetup, Splice and Remini, took over WeTransfer and recently there have been changes to their subscription plans.
Free plans can now enjoy various premium features such as access to unlimited portals, requesting access to files and also protecting files with a password. For paid file sharing, the 5% charge has also been removed. Most interestingly, the free user quota has been increased from 2GB to 3GB and in a month users can make 10 shares.
For their paid plans, they now start at $6.99 per month for Starter which gives users a quota of up to 300GB. Finally, there is the Ultimate plan which combines the Pro and Premium plans in one package. This plan is more expensive and offers unlimited quota access.
In our review, the new plan is still not activated in Malaysia. However, starting this month and when customers start making payments for the following month – everything will be transferred to the new plan.
