WhatsApp Video Calls Now Support Higher Resolution

According to WhatsApp, today there are more than 2 billion calls made on their messaging platform. Regardless of voice or video calls, many people use them and no longer depend on other platforms. Most recently, the call quality has been improved along with several new features.

Now from within a WhatsApp group, users can make voice calls by selecting a number of participants. Other participants will not be disturbed and this makes it easier for any confidential discussions that they want to have.

On video calls, there are now 10 filter options to make the call session more lively and users can also add several augmented reality stickers. Then voice calls from WhatsApp desktop, whether Windows or Mac, are easier to use and equivalent to smartphones. Finally, the quality of video calls has been improved with higher video resolution regardless of which call mode.

This update is said to be available to all users and can be downloaded directly from the app store of their respective devices.
