A few weeks ago we reported that Microsoft had begun testing their Windows Recall feature again through the Windows Insider program for laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors.
Now, Microsoft has confirmed that the testing phase has been extended to CoPilot+ laptops powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 and Intel Core Ultra 200V processors. Microsoft seems to be preparing to launch this feature to these laptops, which they believe is one of the key features for the Windows 11 operating system.
Windows Recall is an opt-in feature where users have to confirm that they want to use it, and understand that a screenshot of every input they make will be taken for the purpose of storing data on the device. This data will not be sent to any server machine, and can only be accessed physically.
The latest update to the Windows Recall test also shows the addition of support for several new languages such as Chinese (simplified), French, German, Japanese and Spanish.
If you're in the Windows Insider program, this feature will be introduced for those laptops through the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.2510 (KB5048780) update.
