Xerox Acquires Lexmark – Strengthening Portfolio in the Printing Arena



Xerox today announced that it will acquire popular printer brand, Lexmark for a value of up to $1.5 billion. The acquisition also includes debt and liabilities assumed by Lexmark.


Lexmark is one of the printer brands, which was started in 1991 after being separated from IBM. It is ready to supply Xerox, and this acquisition will facilitate the integration of both parties' businesses.


Xerox said that this acquisition will strengthen their printing portfolio, in addition to allowing them to develop services and print services management on a global level, in line with today's changing work culture.
