YouTube Starts Cracking Down on Videos with Clickbait Titles and Graphics

Two years ago, we published an article saying that YouTube has a problem with too many videos that use clickbait techniques and cheap tabloid-like titles to attract views. The video titles and dwarf images used are incompatible with the actual content of the video, which has angered viewers. YouTube this morning began cracking down on this practice, starting in India.

To ensure that content creators have time to adapt to this enforcement, YouTube will remove content that violates this policy without imposing a strike on the channel. As you know, channels that accumulate three strikes will be deleted and will also be suspended.
