Accessory Manufacturers Reveal Final Design of Nintendo Switch 2

At CES 2025, accessory manufacturers seem to be unable to keep Nintendo's big secrets. Major manufacturers such as Skull & Co, Genki, Dbrand and many others revealed the final design that is claimed to be for the Nintendo Switch 2. The console is seen covered with its respective protective frames.

Based on all the leaked information and the ones that have been shown, OnLeaks and 91Mobiles collaborated to render the full design of this popular mobile game console.

The Switch 2 is seen to come with a larger screen, which is 8.4-inches in size, but the type of panel is still uncertain whether it is LCD or OLED. The device is also larger and thicker, at around 271mm x 116.4mm x 31.4mm compared to the first Switch which was only 239mm x 102mm x 14mm.

On the top right side, straight to the left, there is a power button, volume rocker, 3.5mm audio jack, a few mysterious holes, a USB-C slot, another hole and then perhaps a game cartridge slot that also supports old Switch cartridges. New shoulder buttons are also visible with additional buttons behind them.

The new Joy-Con also looks to be simpler, and it looks like it may use a magnetic connection that is still inserted. The color theme has also changed with the main color being dull black and the cheerful color of the Switch as the secondary color tone. The back panel also has larger legs, probably to make it more stable and sturdy.

Overall, the design of the Switch 2 still looks more or less the same as the original Switch, only it is bigger and a little neater. The specifications of the Switch 2 are still a mystery, but there are rumors that it will offer better graphics, more storage, better performance and a more immersive user experience. Let's all wait for further announcements of the Switch 2 later.
