Ad Blockers on YouTube Will Receive 1 Hour of Unskippable Ads

Since last year, YouTube has been getting more serious about cracking down on users who use ad blockers on their platform. Now videos may not play, videos will be slowed down, and more. Recently, some users have reported problems with excessively long ads that cannot be skipped.

According to a report by Android Authority, some users are facing problems with ads that are around an hour or more long and cannot be skipped. When asked by Google, they replied that the use of ad blockers is prohibited and to enjoy the ad-free streaming experience, a YouTube Premium subscription is required.

This means that using an ad blocker will now display more than an hour of unskippable ads on YouTube.
