Apple Reportedly Wants to Expand Apple News Offerings to Other Countries

Apple is ready to offer a platform that gathers news under Apple News, making it easier for users to read various news easily under one platform. However, since its introduction in 2015, Apple News has still been limited to only a few countries.

According to a report by the FT today, it was reported that Apple is planning to expand its Apple News application offerings to other markets, as well as diversify revenue generation including revenue sharing with content publishers. Apple is ready to experiment with displaying ads on Apple News before.

It is said that Apple News is ready to become the main source of news reading for many users in the West, not to mention that the application comes built-in with the iPhone. In addition to the free version, Apple News+ also offers access to a number of newspapers, magazines, strategy games and so on through the same application, at a competitive subscription price.

Today, Apple News+ has around 450 publishers participating in it, and that number is sure to increase sharply when it is launched globally to more countries later.
