Frore Systems is a cooling technology developer known for introducing fanless cooling technology for computer systems and servers. In the middle of this year, they showed off the Frore AirJet Mini Slim cooling system, which features a very thin design, but is able to flow air pressure as high as 1750 Pascal using only 1W of electricity.
The AirJet Mini Slim cooling system uses ultrasonic vibrations to produce a stronger airflow while using less electricity when compared to conventional cooling fans.
Recently, the cooling system was tested on a Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop, where four AirJet Mini Slim coolers were used to dissipate heat from the components of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor chip.
The use of Frore AirJet Mini Slim cooling system shows a reduction in the area that needs to be cooled by 45 percent, and this allows the Samsung laptops to not only operate at a higher Wattage (18 compared to the previous 12), but also to accommodate a larger battery (64.8Wh compared to 55.9Wh).
With the installation of this cooling system, as well as the larger battery, Frore Systems says that the laptop's battery life increases from 20 hours to 23.2 hours in terms of continuous video playback.
Frore Systems says that the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop with its AirJet Mini cooling system will be shown at CES 2025 next week. Whether the laptop with this cooling SKU will be sold is still unknown at this time.
