Samsung device users have been waiting for years for Seamless Update capability, with the Galaxy S25 series finally supporting this update method. Seamless update update was introduced since Android Nougat 7.0 in 2016 to ensure that users can still use the device while the update is installed in the background.
The update is installed on the second partition of the device’s storage, as this update uses the A/B storage concept. After the update is complete, users will be prompted to restart the device to continue using the device running on the other partition. Previously, this feature was only given to the Galaxy A55.
Later, after you get any Galaxy S25 and receive the update – just press download and let it install itself in the background while you can use the device as usual until restart.
