Garmin Pay Introduced in Malaysia – Public Bank Becomes the First to Support It

Garmin Malaysia today officially launched support for payments using Garmin smartwatches, namely Garmin Pay. For this purpose, Garmin has partnered with Public Bank as the first bank to support this feature.

Using Garmin Pay, users can easily make payments at terminals by touching their Garmin watches that support it to the payment terminal. This also simplifies the process of buying or paying for anything after exercising, or while doing outdoor activities, without having to carry cash.

A number of Garmin watches support this Garmin Pay feature, including the Instinct 3 which was launched today. In addition, among the models that support it are the Forerunner 165 Series, Quatix 7 Pro, Descent Mk3 Series, VivoMove Trend Series and many more.

Public Bank users who use Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards can link their cards to the Garmin Pay Wallet, and use this payment feature. In line with this introduction, users who use Garmin Pay from 21 January to 30 April 2025, will have the opportunity to receive a cashback of RM30 when making three transactions with a minimum of RM80 per transaction.
