It’s not the first time that a tech giant has partnered with a news publication to share authentic information and curb the spread of fake news. Most recently, Google announced a partnership with The Associated Press (The AP).
The partnership is for their generative artificial intelligence chatbot, Gemini. After years of working with The AP for Google Search, they are now offering real-time authentic information for feedback in Gemini. Now when users search or generate text with Gemini, the feedback is based on articles written by The AP.
However, any AI chatbot service on the market will still be hallucinating and you as a smart user MUST check the text that has been generated.
