Grab has announced the acquisition of Nham24 in Cambodia, a food and goods delivery company – similar to what Grab offers.
Nham24 was founded in 2016 and is one of Cambodia’s most successful tech companies. With this acquisition by Grab, it further strengthens Grab’s position in the Cambodian market. Grab also said it will increase its investment in the Cambodian market, as well as support the growth of the digital economy there.
For now, both the Grab and Nham24 apps will continue to operate as usual, and users can place orders using both. Grab said it will reach out to merchants and delivery people when more information about the transition is available.
