In conjunction with the CES 2025 event that is taking place this week, Hisense announced two new giant-sized television models. The largest TV is the MicroLED 136MX with a screen size of 136″ and also uses MicroLED technology. It comes with 24.88 million micro LEDs that can offer brightness of up to 10,000 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, low latency mode and Dolby Vision support.
There is no information about the operating system used by the MicroLED 136MX but with MicroLED technology, Hisense says it is able to offer amazing visual quality without the screen burn-in issue that haunts OLED technology.
The second TV is the TriChroma LED TV with a Mini LED screen size of 116″. Through RGB Local Dimming technology developed by Hisense, this TV panel can display 97% of the colors in the BT.2020 gamut and brightness of up to 10,000 nits. The operating system used is Google TV with Dolby Vision IQ support, IMAX Enhanced and also a built-in 6.2.2 channel CineStage X audio system.
For now, Hisense is only showing the concept at CES 2025 with the final product planned to be sold starting this year in stages.
