The trend of open-design earphones continues with the Honor Earbuds Open. It uses a design similar to the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo. In addition, it has a lightweight build and a hook that makes it easy to use.
It is also equipped with 16mm audio drivers with built-in dual microphones and built-in active noise cancellation (ANC) for a clear call experience. Quick tethering is done via Bluetooth 5.2 which also supports simultaneous dual-device smart connection. Support for artificial intelligence (AI)-based features such as AI Translation and AI Privacy Call is provided to enhance the user experience.
Users can also control the Honor Earbuds Open via touch controls whether to play, pause, skip or adjust the audio volume. The included battery can last 22 hours with the help of a charging pod and IP54 waterproofing. Honor Earbuds Open is sold in Malaysia at RM699 with availability starting January 17, 2025.
