Fujifilm has launched a new film camera, the Instax Wide Evo, and it is a hybrid that means it can also function as a printer. Through the Instax Wide Evo, users can shoot wide, or wide-angle images that are great for capturing more details and expanding perspectives.
To that end, Fujifilm uses a 16MP sensor paired with a 16mm f/.4 lens to produce high-quality images with a minimum focusing distance of 10cm. It also offers 100 recording options with its own special effects through a combination of 10 filters and 10 different lens modes. In addition, it has Degree Control and Film Style Framing functions for a more diverse user experience.
Connecting the Instax Wide Evo to an iPhone or Android device also allows users to easily transfer images from the camera. In addition, it also allows users to share their own interesting filters with others. A 3.5″ LCD screen is provided to make it easy for users to set the recording direction, manage settings and review captured images at any time.
It is also supported by a built-in battery that allows this camera to print up to 100 images on a single charge. A MicroSD card slot is also provided to ensure there is space for additional image storage but the microSD card is sold separately. The official retail price is £319.99 (~RM1,752) with purchase availability starting February 4, 2025.
