MyJPJ is an application developed by the Road Transport Department that allows users to view and display their driving licence and vehicle ownership licence quickly and easily, without the need for physical cards and stickers.
Apart from that, the application can also display any summons issued by the JPJ to drivers, and now, it seems that drivers who have been issued with these summonses can also start paying the summons through the application.
This feature was apparently introduced recently, in conjunction with the JPJ campaign that allows users to pay for certain summonses, including the Automatic Awareness Security System (AwAS) Summons (Summary 53A), Notice of Inquiry (114) and Notice of Stamped Summons/JPJ(P)23 (115).
All three summonses can be paid at a 50 percent discount of RM150 starting tomorrow, January 3, 2025 until June 30, 2025. According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, this summons discount is given because to date, there are 2 million outstanding AwAS summonses, and if these summonses are not paid, drivers will not be allowed to renew their driving and motor vehicle licenses.
These summonses can be paid through physical JPJ counters and kiosks, or as we said, through the MyJPJ application which now comes with a summons payment feature.
