Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini x Is the First Desktop With Snapdragon X Chip



The Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini x (1L, 10) launched today is the first desktop computer to use the Snapdragon X chip. It is a mini computer that has an 8-core Snapdragon X Plus chip or Snapdragon X which has an NPU capable of 45 TOPS which makes it also the world's first desktop Copilot+ PC.


This is matched to memory up to 32GB 8488MHz LPDDR5X RAM, storage up to 1TB Gen 4 SSD. I/O options are 3x USB 3.2 Gen2, 1 x USB Type-C USB 4.0, 1x USB Type C USB3.2 Gen2, 1x USB 2.0, 1x RJ45, 1x audio jack, 1x HDMI 2.1 TMDS and 1x DP 1.4a. One drawback of this mini computer is that it does not have built-in speakers.


All components are placed in a frame measuring 195.0 x 191.0 x 42.6 mm with a weight of 1.805 kg. Finally, the operating system used is Windows 11. Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini x will go on sale in April 2025 at a starting price of $659.99 (~RM 2969).
