LG Introduces OLED Panel With 4000 Nits Brightness Using iPad Pro Screen Technology

Apple is the first to use Tandem OLED screen panels on a product sold to the public, namely on the iPad Pro M4. This screen panel is manufactured by LG and it offers many times the brightness with lower power consumption. Most recently, Tandem OLED technology has been used in LG's new television.

LG claims that Tandem OLED technology for this television is the first in the world to achieve the brightest brightness of 4000 nits. This technology is developed for the era of generative AI. This new LG Tandem OLED or Primary RGB Tandem uses its own RGB LED stack to produce light.

This OLED stack structure guarantees maximum brightness because each LED section lights up on its own. However, this technology still requires a glossy finish that reflects light. Compared to QD-OLED technology which is very bright but uses a dull finish. LG also guarantees that they have used a glossy finish with ultra-low reflection technology.

Currently, this technology is still in the testing stage and is not yet ready for widespread sale. Even if it is sold, the price will be very expensive because it is a proprietary technology that is not yet widely used. Let's all look forward to the development of Tandem OLED technology.
