LG M5 Is a Wireless OLED TV With Generative AI Control

The LG M series is a new generation webOS OLED smart television that is still not sold in Malaysia. At the CES 2025 event, LG has launched the M5 series which is now powered by many generative AI features. This TV once again focuses on HDR capabilities with dynamic bright display on the screen.

The LG M5 2025 continues to use the Zero Connect Box connection technology. With this box, any TV box, console, soundbar or additional device can be connected without dangling wires on the television. If the M4 has proven to work well, the M5 is promised to be much more stable.

For HDR technology, Brightness Bosster Ultimate is introduced which can increase brightness with smarter control using its own algorithm. Through it, the screen brightness can reach up to three times. For video game players, this TV supports a refresh rate of 165Hz and has a choice of sizes from 65-inch, 77-inch, 83-inch and 97-inch.

This new LG TV is powered by the Alpha II Gen 2 chip. This cutting-edge screen technology will also be brought to the C series of TVs sold in Malaysia. For LG users, you must be familiar with the Magic Remote. This time, the remote has been powered by AI – where there are no additional input buttons. Instead, there is a Home Hub button to access input suggestions on the TV screen.

Other AI features are AI Pictures Pro, AI Sound Pro and virtual 11.1.2 audio channels are also provided in this TV. Speaking of AI, this TV remote can also access chatbots powered by various LLMs such as Microsoft Copilot. This TV will be officially launched throughout 2025.
