Like Samsung, today also announced support for Microsoft CoPilot artificial intelligence (AI) virtual assistant on its smart TV series. According to LG, CoPilot will allow users to efficiently search and organize complex information. For a smoother and more engaging experience, the AI Chatbot proactively identifies user challenges and offers the right solution.
This year's LG smart TVs come with a new "AI Remote" control that can recognize the user's voice giving commands through the AI Voice ID feature. With this, the TV will change settings and preferred applications based on the user's voice. On smart TVs that previously supported profiles, the process of changing who was using it had to be done manually.
LG has not yet shown how CoPilot will be integrated into the WebOS operating system but like last year, this year will also see various AI features introduced to everyday products.
